Yesterday, I was thinking about my
friends and I recollected that Vaasu while visiting any temple starts reciting
slokhas on Shiva loudly. Although I learnt small prayer portion of Rudram, which
in my opinion was sufficient for contemplating on the Lord, I suddenly became
envious of the proficiency of others. Atleast for improving on my contemplation
of the Supreme Lord, I decided to learn further on the Praises of the Five faces of the Lord Shiva, incidentally which spurned
me on to such thought,
It is said that Lord Shiva
has five faces each looking at five visible directions. I could search find out
from the net relevant slokas and within a day could grasp four of them by
heart. One remains.
While doing so I further
contemplated on the meaning and secrets
behind them. I was amazed at the revelations of my contemplations ( Vicharams)
1. The atma or part of Brahman which
resides in this body’s ultimate goal is to unite with the all pervading
Brahman. Atma is Asexual or for that
matter, unisexual, all as women, longing
to join the “Purusha”. Each face is
attributed with each of the five elements, five organs -sensory and action etc.
2. The Five faces of the Lord Shiva representing the five elements point to a spiral raising from the Base chakra
to the top.
3. Starting from Mooladhara to
Swatishtana to Manipooraka and Anakatha and finally the Visudhdha.
4. The Mooladhar representing the Prithvi (Feet) to water ( Suklam/Shronitham) then to
Fire( Jataragni which nurtures the body) and to Manas , joins the “ Neel kant”
for salvation.

Morning I
woke up to the incessant chatter on the TV, of
a gentleman ,raising the hopes of many and more so of my wife who was
watching and the reason for the noise, by his colourful predictions of the Day’s happening for all and sundry.
This
made me think how anyone can predict what is going to happen to others and in
reality what happens and how?
When I used to attend the lectures
(or classes as he calls) of Swamy Omkaranantha
,he was explicit in his condemnation of the so called astrology, horoscopes,
predictions and parikarams. I agreed with him as a fully
renounced person who has left everything at the lotus feet of the Almighty, he
has no reasons to believe in this.
I also agree that if anyone believe s that
the present life in this time is a result of our past deeds and pre- ordained ,
what good is the belief that something is ever going to change the events?
“ what you sow, is what you reap”
“ Bhagwan ka Ghar me dher hai but undher nahi”
Yeah, the delay is one janam but surely it manifests.
However the Astrology, horoscope etc are all backed by Vedic literatures and
Saints. How can we discard it altogether as farce? The Grandson of Great Saint
Vashist, Parasar is credited with this mystic knowledge. And all other
civilisations which existed at those time form 5th Century have
evolved and nurtured this subject.
So it needs to be looked into
more objectively.
The innumerable life cycles
of a soul are due to the effects of the karmas performed in a particular birth
and become the reason for its onward journey. Unless a very conscious effort is
made and maintained perhaps over births, can anyone get out of it.
This leads to a thought, if
the karma is the reason for re birth, can we not avoid doing it to escape the
rut? I guess it is not so easy, because after taking birth none can avoid
performing tasks so none can avoid the results. Even the prescription of the
Great Teacher Lord Srikrishna is to be adopted that ‘perform without expecting
fruits of that labour may bring calmness
but nonetheless the results are there. So much so performing only Good and
Dharmic deeds during the entire life
will also earn you positive results may be making your life in the next birth a
more pleasurable living with all comforts etc. But then again the gunas with
which we are born may corrupt the process during that time. I guess we have no
control over the continuance of this mindset in the next birth. Or do We?
Continuing this thought, a
human whose birth is hailed as the most
precious gift by the Adi Shankara, is born with three gunas viz., Rajas, Tamas and Sattva. I guess all three are essential to
lead a normal life of a human who is made of Five kosas. The three kosas depend on these three
gunas for sustenance. During the life
cycle, the composition or the proportions of these undergo changes. Normally, I
feel, that as a child we have more of tamas and sattva and less of Rajas.
During adolescence more of Rajas and tamas and less of sattva and as age
progresses goes back to stage one. The main conflicts in life , I guess , is a result
of a different set of these proportions. This imbalance causes clouding of thought
process which leads to error in judgments and resulting in bad karmas or adharmic deeds. It can be actual
deed, thought or speech which all constitute karma.
Having
seen how and why karmas are done and become the cause of re births, Let us
dwell upon how and where the astrology and horoscope come into the picture.
The mythology says that there
is a man high up in the heaven who records all your deeds, calculate the
rewards and punishments etc and delivers
it on the Judgment day i.e, when you ( soul) is produced before the Yama Dharma
Raja. It appears to me as farfetched. To my interpretation while the process
may be true the accounting is done by the innermost kosa or the “Vigyanamaya
kosa or the Astral bridge’ which resides within the body. If we have to believe
that the Brahman himself is residing within, can this be farfetched to believe.
However to keep a tarck of Papas and Punniyas , evaluate their significance and
effects and contributions , to calculate the rewards and punishments and then
to decide a vehicle to choose which will help expend the Praraptha Karma in the
next birth, requires a humongous evaluation
and an unimaginably complex algorithm. This when coupled with the destiny of
the near and dear ones, friends, places and events to make them happen at the
appropriate timings of one’s life involves serious networking and interlinking.
Not only the astral bridge within but those outside of your body have to be in
constant touch.
While this may seem
improbable and impossible, yet it happens. The natal chart or the horoscope
explains all these in succinct details.
While the planets do in no way determines the course of happening, as they are based
on your karmas, they do predict the course.
A short course in
understanding Astrology conducted by an Adult education society way back has
helped to understand these nuances.
Before going into further
details it may be worthwhile to
understand something about Astrology, horoscope etc.
This science is not unique
only to Indus valley and followers of Sanatana Dharma but prevalent in other
civilisations spread around the world. In fact the Horoscope has a root in
Greek which means “observe(r )of the time”
(of birth).or ‘ markers of the time (of birth). It gives an account of the
position of the various planets at the time of birth and hence called a ‘Natal
Chart’.
We the sanatana Dharma
followers called it “ Hora shastra” and Janma Kundali.( more to it shortly).
The life on earth is greatly
believed to be influenced by positions of these planets as all form part of the
same universe and came into existence from the same matter,the “Brahman”.
These planets are not
stationery ( although the science has proved that sun is stationery, for
practical purposes we have assumed that mother Earth is stationery and in
relation Sun goes around us..These planets revolve around the Sun in a 360
degree celestial belt which is divided into 12 no 30 degree segments and called
SIGNS. The planets move through these segments in a sequential form from west
to east with a periodicity of their own. While some move faster and some move
slower making more time.
The natal chart indicates
these positions of different planets in the zodiacal signs at the time one’s
birth. This time of birth and place of birth which determines these locations
of planets which will have a bearing on the life and course of the events is
decided by that Algorithm we talked about. Now the DIE is cast. Over the life
of this native events are going to happen, according to this start and course
corrections over the period.
Like it was mentioned earlier
the events are not going to change over period of time but will happen
according to the planetary movements. So if at all the chart is studied and
present locations evaluated ( Gochara ) , we can get an inkling of what is
going to happen but nevertheless cannot change them EVER and NEVER.
Having said that, the science
of astrology which was evolved by these great learned men starting from Parasar
is very intricate and needs depth of understanding. Not all can do justice to
it. It is also true for such men of knowledge by observance of events, person, his
surroundings of life etc ., can predict
the natal chart without knowing the details of his birth. These details are
otherwise very much needed to cast one’s natal chart.
As it is said that this chart
not only reveals information about the native, the details regarding the
natives parents, siblings spouse , children etc and their entire life can also
be evaluated. Since the algorithm is based on such an evaluation.
At the end I cannot help but
admire the robustness of this science, notwithstanding the people who cash in
on this Gupt or hidden treasure by incorrect readings which makes general
people lose faith. And yet the distain ,of the much learned persons who care
not for this as they have understood the larger picture, is also valid.

While the other civilisations
referred to this natal chart as
“Horoscope”, Sanatanists called it “
Janma Kundali”
The transformation that could
be brought and the progression and elevation that could be achieved by the “
Brahman” within has been known to the m. Such a practice and efforts has been
termed as “ Kundalini Yoga”.The dormant life force which is at some
level within the body which is reflected by this natal chart can elevate itself
to higher levels by conscious efforts during this life term by practice. Deeds,
thought and speech i.e .,Karma.
To help in this direction
they put markers and idendified causes or malices. They divided the body into
seven goal points and six obstacles in
this path.
While these goal points are known to
all, we see the obstacles also known but I put them in a slightly different
order than normally known. Kama, Moha, Lobha, Krotha, Macharya and Matha.
The distance between the
first of the Chakras, from Mooladhar,which lies “ two fingers above “Eru Vai” and two fingers below “ Karu Vai”
as identified and described beautifully by
the saint “ThiruMoolar” to “Swatishtanam” can be traversed by renouncing Kama.
The travel from Swatishtanam
to “ Mani poorakam “ can be achieved by sacrificing “Moha” or blind desire for worldly things.
I consider this point as one
support level for the Brahman within or the Atma just like the support level
for the shares. It can sustain here without dropping to below levels when it is
crossed, The progression and regression of Brahman within or Jeevatma over births
is common and as such the scriptures indicate even the exalted levels of
Devendra, Brahma etc are posts occupied by the evolved souls and once degraded
can fall below to ordinary levels.
Next leg of the journey in
the progression of soul is from Manipooraka to
“ Anaghtham” which is achieved by leaving “ Lobha” Normally we refer to
this gut feeling of envy as “ burning or churning in the stomach,right?
Further travel will take IT
to “ Visutha” from Anaghatham, when “ Krotha is mastered. This is when the
Kshatrian in you becomes a Brahmana..
The only bad quality of the
learned is to talk ill of others due a feeling of Superiority Complex. If and
when this is mastered and humility at all times is practiced, IT moves over to
the “ Agnya Chakra”. This gives the Atman its Sidhdha powers. It is the
elevation to the “Fourth “ state of the Matter.
The final leg of the journey
is completed when IT sheds the last of the malice “ Matha: or the EGO.
Surrendered to the all-pervading Nirguna Brahman in all respects and completely to become one
with HIM. ( More on this later).

At every opportunity, the so
called reformists cry hoarse about the injustice to a particular section of
Community by so called Manu Dharma and division of humans based on caste which
is again based on birth.
1, During the time of the Rigveda, there were two varnas: arya varna and dasa varna. The
distinction originally arose from tribal divisions. The Vedic tribes regarded
themselves as arya (the noble ones) and the rival tribes were
called dasa, dasyu and pani
2. This description is questioned by Bharadvaja
who says that colors are seen among all the varnas, that desire,
anger, fear, greed, grief, anxiety, hunger and toil prevails over all human
beings, that bile and blood flow from all human bodies, so what distinguishes
the varnas, he asks. The Mahabharata then declares, "There is
no distinction of varnas. This whole universe is Brahman. It was created formerly by Brahma, came to be classified by acts."[106] The epic then recites a behavioral model for varna,
that those who were inclined to anger, pleasures and boldness attained the
Kshtriya varna; those who were inclined to cattle rearing and
living off the plough attained the Vaishya varna; those who were
fond of violence, covetousness and impurity attained the Shudra varna.
The Brahmin class is modeled in the epic as the archetype default state of man
dedicated to truth, austerity and pure conduct.[107] In the Mahabharata and pre-medieval era Hindu texts,
according to Hiltebeitel, "it is important to recognise, in theory, varna is
nongenealogical. The four varnas are not lineages, but
categories
3. Adi Purana text states
"there is only one jati called manusyajati or
the human caste, but divisions arise on account of their different
professions".[112] The
caste of Kshatriya arose, according to Jainism texts, when Rishabha procured
weapons to serve the society and assumed the powers of a king, while Vaishya
and Shudra castes arose from different means of livelihood they specialised in.[113]
4. The caste system as it
exists today is thought to be the result of developments during the collapse of
the Mughal era and the British colonial regime in India
5. Jati,
meaning birth,[23] is mentioned much less often in ancient texts, where it
is clearly distinguished from varna. There are four varnas but
thousands of jatis.[20] The jatis are complex social groups
that lack universally applicable definition or characteristic, and have been
more flexible and diverse than was previously often assumed

not originally an Indian word, though it is now widely used, both in English
and in Indian

Even the most vocal
Sanatanists mumbles apologetically the four varnas/castes/Jatis ( all mixed up
together inspite of clear divisions) might have crept up into the society but
the four origins mentioned in vedic texts are really refers to the professional
divisions and not by Birth alone.
While
it might be true to an extent that nowhere in vedic texts it is mentioned that
these four divisions are based on birth alone, the cunning British has
perpetuated it and it has thrived to spread hatred and distrust among the
humanity.
1.
Manu took inspiration from Vedas (refer Rigveda 10.10.11-12,
Yajurveda 31.10-11, Atharvaveda 19.6.5-6) and proposed a social system based on
qualities, actions and nature of the individual.
2.
the very word Varna derived from root word “Vrinja” means
“Choice“.
3.
The biggest proof of Manu Smriti proposing Varna System and NOT
Caste System is that in the first Chapter of Manu Smriti, there is mention of
origin of 4 Varnas and no mention of castes or gotras
The description that refers to the origins of these four namely
Brahmana, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shudra, I hear from Purusha Suktha, which is
basically like a FAQ on Virat Purusha.
It questions about the nature of the PURUSHA and try to answer it. To me this
by itself is an attempt by someone who has not actually witnessed the Creation
but try to extrapolate it with reference to his time. If we consider the time
frame of the cosmos with reference to the present Brahma (the Creator) who is
51 years old now, the Creation is atleast 155 trillion years , if not more (https://www.quora.com /What-is-the-age-of-Brahma).
And if we are talking about the Indus valley civilization and present day Vedas
, even assuming the latest day of Brahma it is approximately 4.2 billion years.
So the hypothesis that it is attempt at extrapolation hold good. Modern Science
too endorses such a time frame.
More so, I would not like to attribute
such a demeaning interpretation to such highly evolved souls who could grasp
the sounds from space and comprehend the Vedas and smritis.
In my humble
opinion, I postulate that this interpretation
of origins or dwelling of four types more so refer to the position of Jeevatmas, who got separated from
the Nirguna Brahman at the time of origin of cosmos, vis –a- vis the Virat Purusha.
Let us look at this. Every learned
person will agree, inspite of various Sidhdhanthas, that there are two distinct
entities. Jeevatma and Parmatma, Or (Three) Guna Brahman and Nirguna Brahman.
While all the Sidhdhanthas describe Nirguna Brahman as the formless yet it is
said in all vedic Texts , especially the referred Text PURUSHA SUKTHA it has
innumerable heads, innumerable shoulders eyes and legs. Can it not be taken
that it refers to the multitude of the separated souls from the Brahman?
It is also a fact that all
religions , that emanated from this part of the world, refers to the
degradation, progression and elevation
of souls over a period of time and cycle of Births. Jainism refer to the souls
getting heavy due to the accumulation of cosmic dust due to these births .They
even ascribe colours to these souls according to the accumulation of cosmic
dust ( Lesya).
So it is fair and accurate to
assume that the noblest and enlightened souls refer to the most evolved souls
are at the level of the Virat Purusha’s face while the souls most heavily
burdened by cosmic dust are at the level of the feet of the Virat. The other degree
of weights leaves the corresponding souls at other levels.
This
is also explained by the example of Seven Chakras of the Jeevatma as everything
is same and common for both. As the souls refine themselves by Good karmas,
they rise in their levels with reference to the Virat Purusha, the most
enlightened goes up.
I am not sure of this
postulation as the suktha itself ask questions by someone, how was the Purusha
and how were its limbs?
But I am
sure that the highly evolved souls would never ,ever have attempted to divide
the mankind on the basis of their birth which is totally based on one’s karma
only.

The Great teacher, Sri Krishna
lectured to the much confused Arjuna on
how to reach Him? Amongst many
things, the Bhagawat Gita enunciates mainly three ways of doing so in this
life. Any human being with a reasonable intellect and a healthy body can attain
Him either of the three ways namely, Karma Yoga,
Bakhthi Yoga or the Jnana Yoga.
Although
some later chapters confuse the mind with that one is the opposite way etc, we
can reasonably assume that by following steadfastly one of these will lead us
to enlightenment, which should be the Goal of every able human being.
But then,
the Nava Lakshnas of Bhakthi as told in
Bhagawata Purana which are 1. Shravanam 2.Keerthanam 3.Vishnosmaranam 4.Pada sevanam
5. Archanam 6. Vandanam 7.Dasyam 8.
Sakhyam and finally 9. Atma Nivedanam ,
in my opinion encompasses all three.
Four ways to do this is again Shravanam (Listening), Mananam ( Thinking
it over and Over), Nithithyasanam ( Deep Contemplation ) , which leads to
Saakshaatkaram. ( Realisation)
It is also interesting to note a parallel in normal married life.
When a marriage is
performed ,one of the ritual s for the Bride and the Groom , is to take seven
steps “Saath Phere “ together to enter a wedlock or “Bandan. “ Here too, the
first seven steps lead to situation when one becomes a “Friend “ “Saathi” with the God and then the
two become “one”
All the Jeevatmas irrespective of the forms they have taken
during their life term, Male or Female, are essentially the complementing
Factors of the Brahman and their union is BLISS.
Other religions on
Shravanam and manam
In Theravada Buddhism, there can be no
divine salvation or forgiveness for one's karma, since it is a purely
impersonal process that is a part of the makeup of the universe. In Mahayana
Buddhism, the texts of certain Mahayana sutras (such as the Lotus Sutra, the Angulimaliya Sutra and the Nirvana Sutra) claim
that the recitation or merely the hearing of their texts can expunge great
swathes of negative karma. Some forms of Buddhism (for example, Vajrayana) regard the recitation
of mantras as a means for cutting off of previous negative karma.

Sometime back I saw a post in in whatsapp group mentioning
about the nose piercing and studs and
that practice has come as it helps the health of women according to Ayurveda.
Efforts to substantiate this claim with some explicit
documents did not prove successful/ All the references simply claim that
according to Ayurveda it helps the women in their menstrual b health but no
concrete evidence was produced.
I also felt that there is some connection between nose
studs and gynecology, I pursued with my search of various connected issues and
topics.
I came across certain more references. 1. An unsubstantiated and also rejected
theory by one otolaryngologist Dr.Wilhelm
Fliess who was a compatriot and a contemporary of Dr. Sigmund Freud. He enunciated a theory that
there is a connection between the Nose and Genitalia of women and propounded a
theory called “ Nasal Reflex Neurosis”. Even Dr. Freud allowed some of his patients
to be treated by Dr. Fleiss till it was found that this theory was not
substantiated and so relegated and rejected by other Scientists.
There was another
Medical research regarding the “Vomera
Nasal organ “ ( VNO )a small tube like
structure within the nose. Study and research conducted by Cambridge University
on this subject revealed that removal of this in Female rats made them act like
male rats and they started humping other female rats. This VNO or Jacobson’s organ as it is called is present in reptiles, mammals
and helps them in identifying the
pheromones. However latest research indicate that while VNO is common in
Mammals, and it is present in embryos,, it fuses and becomes a pit in adults.
Next I made an examination of the normal and usual site of nose piercing “ the alar flap” for any pressure point or nerve
also did not yield any worthwhile result as it appears to be a mere fatty
substance with normal blood capillaries.
Notwithstanding the above failed indications, it is still desired to
pursue the topic. This custom of Nose
Piercing and wearing of Jewellery has been practiced predominantly by women in Indian Sun continent
and partly by Malaysia, Africa and Australian
aboriginals who believed to have originated in the same place and migrated. Also
certain parts and communities prefer to have the left nostrils pierced , some right and some in both. I was
wondering why so.?
Before that, let us see some more facts. The ancient texts
say that the most important function of breathing and respiration after happen
in a certain way. The air we inhale and exhale follow certain definitive cycles
of passage, which is through the nose. The nose which is divided into two vents
or nostrils , allow air alternatively in a cyclic pattern. The left vent is
called Pingala and the right one is Ida. They are ascribed to be Feminine and
Masculine and attributed to the Moon and the Sun. While the air through the
Pingala kalai cools , the same through
Ida heats.
The law of thermodynamics and material properties suggest that the temperature of the metal
placed in an air vent is modified by the temperature of the air passing through
and around. Further the combination of cold and increased wind flow makes the
heat loss faster. The reverse also may
apply. Also the metals Silver, copper and Gold has comparably higher
conductivity at room temperature in that order.
The third point to note is that Estrogen or especially E2
or Estradiol is responsible for the sex drive
in Pubescent or adult women. This is produced in Hypothalamus which
changes the production/regulates it by thermo regulation of the body.This also
produces oxytocin or so called love hormone.
Adding up all the above points, I postulate as below:
1.
Nose
piercing does affect the sexual characteristics in women
2.
Left
nostril piercing enhances it and right nostril piercing suppresses and both regulates and balances it.
3.
In
addition an ornament there improves the sex appeal overall leading to
appreciation and desire.
While it might be just a gut feeling,
notwithstanding all feeble scientific explanations laid bare above, it
definitely needs study and corroboration. I hope in some point of time in
future some one may pursue this to logical conclusion.

Humans always wonder about life
expectancy and longevity. While it can be safely declared that this applies to
individuals differently and as per the Praabtha Karma ( as hinted in the Natal
Chart), a general declaration of normal or ideal Life expectancy is
nevertheless needed.
In Ramayana, the epic, it is said that
the King Dasaratha ruled for 60,000 years meaning his life span was much more
than that. However some substantiate
that as per vedic interpretations, an year of very Good Governance by
the King is equivalent of 1000 years and so 60000 mentioned therein may be
actually 60 only. Similarly the life span of the other Avtar Sri Krishna can be
estimated to be in the scale of 1-100.
Also
according to Astrology or HORA Shastra , life span of a normal person
unafflicted by Prarabtha is 120 years and the planetary movements during this
life span amongst them is also distributed accordingly. However there is no
mention that one will see all the planets positioning in any sign/House during
his life time.
Therefore
an alternate estimation is needed to determine this. It is said that every
human being /Body born on this Planet undergo certain rhythms which starts at
birth and have definite frequencies. I
guess that this can be tool to evaluate the normal life span.
There
are three Bio Rhythms which start right when the body is born.
1.
Physical
with a frequency of 23 days
2.
Emotional
with a frequency of 28 days
3.
Intellectual
with a frequency of 33 days.
As they vary in frequencies , mathematically the first two cycles converge after
every 644 days and all after 21252 days.
It is interesting to note that the
same point of existence as at the time of birth comes after approximately 60
years. Is it not a marvel that the years are named and numbered 60 which get
repeated in a cycle too with this frequency.
It may not be out of place to record
that because of this ,we celebrate Sixty years completion the day which is
similar to the day of actual birth. This Sixty year cycle is based on lunar
month which is the base for the horoscope.
The
learned have indicated that there is a day and a night’s time for the creator
and have calculated the yugas, maha yugas and Pralayam. If we apply the same
principle to the human being. who is no different from the Brahman, this point
represents the end of the day time and another equal period of sixty years of
night time, making it a life span with 120 years. And, then, the Pralayam or
death.

In our early schooldays, we have
learnt that the matter is in three states viz., Solid ,Liquid and Gaseous.
Later in the point of time the fourth state of the matter is revealed to us
which is called “ Plasma “
However
, Modern Science has revealed that the matter has in fact seven states
according to it ,various ambient conditions and intrinsic values which are :
1.
Solid
2.
Liquid
3.
Gaseous
4.
Plasma
5.
Bose
–Einstein Condensate
6.
Quark-Gluon Plasma
7.
Fermionic
Condensate.
Although this concept was explicitly
explained in any Vedic Texts, it can be inferred that Our Rishis instinctively
knew this fact and indicated it in different ways.
The Vedas indicate in oblique
references that the Cosmos evolved from
the burst of stagnant and Prevalent abundant Energy , which is boundless, without
beginning or ending, and can never be destroyed, but transforms itself into different
forms and shapes. This exactly is the basis for Modern Science even.
Now I attempt to draw some parallels
between this Science and the Vedic concepts.
The Mandukya Upanishad while talking about the Consciousness in this
world says
Sarvam hyetad brahmam-atma
brahma soyamatma catushpat.
Atman has Four Aspects: All of
this, everywhere, is in truth Brahman, the Absolute Reality. This very Self
itself, Atman, is also Brahman, the Absolute Reality. This Atman or Self has
four aspects through which it operates.
Although it explains
further how the said atma /Brahman acts and expends the Prabrabtha Karma,
nevertheless the parallel is that the so called Jeevatma is in four states.
Normal person with three predominant Gunas and evolved Sidhdha Purush for which
only example which comes to mind is my Acharya “ The Maha Periyaval” Inspite of
stoola or gross body manifestation, was an evolved Soul at the threshold of cross over
to the other realms of Divinity.
I consider the other three
states may correspond to Devas, Kinnaras, Kimburudas who enjoy an elevated
status and next being Saguna Brahmams like the Gods. ( Modern Science states that the condition of
the matter in this state is similar to the one at the time of the creation of
Cosmos) . Final state is the super fluid with zero viscosity which can ocuupy
any space and flows /present in any place and can be equated to The “ Nirguna Brahman “.

The soul
which has sowed the seeds of his birth by his karmas has reaped a physical form
to expend the results of them. During its life term how it spends and also
accumulates more for the continuation of the cycle, let us see.
At the physical level it carried out this four states viz.,
1.
Awakened
Fully or Jagra avasta
2.
Dreaming
or swapna Avasta
3.
Deep
slumber or Sushupti avasta and
4.
Trancedented
State ot Tureeya Avasta
These four states are represented by
the Pranava or “ AUM “ and the silence that follows in between.
At the emotional levels they are
1.
Vaisvanara
2.
Taijisa
3.
Pragya and
4.
Brahman
At the
intellectual level the same could be termed as
1.
Turguna
Brahman
2.
Tamasa
Brahman
3.
Sattva
Brahman and
4.
Siddha
Brahman
At
level one, the exchange takes place in the real world with real people under
real circumstances. The consciousness is said to be turned towards outside of
the body or Bahish Pragya. The causes and effects are real bearing fruits. It is said to be emploting Ninteen agencies
namely 5 Sensory organs, 5 action organs 5 vayus and Manas, Puthi Ahangara and
Chittam.
Karmas
done becomes dharmic or adharmic
resulting in Papham or Punniyam.
Any action is a result of a desire. The manas initiates and Puththi
analyses it to see whether that fits into Dharma and can be done or not. Here
the Ahangara decided either abiding by or overruling based on the strength of
the desire. And the Act is done and the Die is cast.
I, therefore consider that “ Jagra
State is in reality “ Jagratha
State” 😀
In
the dreaming state everything is almost real but inside. Actual life situations,
people and experiences are same but doe not really happen except for yourself.
Action carried out in dreams do not bear
actual results except that they affect your senses. So the consciousness is
turned inwards, or anthar Pragya..
In
the third state the consciousness is neither outwardly nor inwardly. Your
consciousness is turned towards the core and it is almost the non existant
state. Sri Ramana Maharishi termed it (Sleep) as a temporary or ( short )Death
and Death as a long sleep.
The
fourth and final state is the transcendental state when the consciousness
becomes one with the Chit or the Atma. Here nothing is felt nothing is
transacted. You remain what you are i.e, True Brahman.
I
feel that if anyone could achieve the fourth state in the First State, i.,e
when he is fully awake, he becomes a Sidhdha Purusha.

When I joined the College of
Engineering, Guindy, I also had to undergo the ritual of ‘ Ragging “ . It is a routine
affair in alm ost all professional colleges, the new entrants have to undergo
at the hands of the so called Seniors, who themselves have undergone this.
Earlier. This is touted as a way to get to know each other but in some cases
has gone bad due to some uncultured elements. However, it does not last long
but at the same time thrives inspite of
all tall claims by the College
administration to the contrary.
In one such incident, I was taught by
a Senior the so called “ Newton’s Fourth Law which goes as under:-
“ In this universe, whenever a pole enters a
hole. it creates a soul which has either a pole or a hole “
Although it was more of a titillation
at that time due to rawness of our minds ( Both the senior as well as the Junior), at this sunset
age it appears more of a statement of simple biological truth.
The continuation of this universe and
dispensation of Justice necessitates birth cycles, it is almost a mystery as to
what sex would be that of the yet to be
born.. The modern Science has solved this by inventing machines to snoop
into the Human body to find out. Earlier days, this puzzle was attempted to be
sorted out by going through the natal chart of the Parent, as it is believed (
and rightly so) that the life events of
both are interlinked through the umbilical
cord. The result rather depends upon the knowledge of the reader of the
horoscope than the actual. Even if he is proficient, there are lot more hidden
in that simple 12 squares .
If that is so, can anyone predict the outcome of the
conception before time?
This has been nagging me for sometime
and my contemplations ( Vicharams) have led me to some postulations. These although appear to be
having some scientific elements and
sound logic ,are absolutely intuitive and have no sound basis.
Modern
Sceince has proved that the Human body has a set of 23 pairs of
Chromosomes *in the basic DNA format , which is unique to the body but has
markers of the lineage. It is also said that the pair of chromosomes pair that determines the
sex of the child , comes one each from each parent and the combination
determines the sex of the child. Each person has either XX or XY making it
either HER or HIM.
In
humans, each cell normally contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, for a total of 46.
Twenty-two of these pairs, called autosomes, look the same in both males and
females. The 23rd pair, the sex chromosomes, differ between males and females.
Females have two copies of the X chromosome, while males have one X and one Y
chromosome.
All diploid organisms with allosome-determined
sex get half of their allosomes from each of their parents. In mammals, females
are XX, they can pass along either of their X’s, and since the males are XY
they can pass along either an X or a Y. For a mammal to be chromosomally
female, the individual must receive an X chromosome from both parents, whereas
to be chromosomally male, the individual must receive a X chromosome from their
mother and a Y chromosome from their father. It is thus the male’s sperm that
determines the sex of each offspring in humans.
Also the sex of the offspring
depend more so on the X chromosome of the parent .This said to contain 1500
genes while Y contains 78 genes. While I do not venture into the other aspects
of the allosomes, it has two states
namely dominant and recessive.
With the above observations in
mind, I have come to a conclusive theory that the outcome of the offspring
would be based on the Male characteristics, more so of his state of mind,
dominant or recessive. The man’s dominant behavior and mindset over his spouse,
not necessarily aggressive, abusive behavior and ven with all love and
affection expressed and felt, strengthens his X chromosome. With this entry of
X chromosome first, the option is only for another X from the mother, thus
making the sex of the offspring to be XX or a girl. In the other scenario, the
dominant X from the mother enters and the only option is for the Y to come from
the father, making it a XY or a Boy.
I have applied this observation to
all around me and found it to be absolutely yet surprisingly TRUE.
While perusing some information on
this, I happened to come across a similar observation by the renowned
Philosophist of all times, Aristotle. His chart in substantiation is reproduced
below.
I feel, Aristotle true the beliefs of his age has concluded a Stronger Male
produces Male offspring. Although, I do not claim absolute correctness of this. I still feel that this
could be one plausible way of determining the outcome of the sex of the yet to
be born.
Of late, I am getting signals that
this may have a bearing on the earlier births of the parents too. I am yet to
contemplate on this and my ramblings will follow. :-D

During the course of my contemplations.
I come across many words like Shrutis, Smritis, Vedas, vedangas etc.,
Although they can be connected together,
I felt that a more clearer understatnding can be obtained if an attempt to tabulate them is made.
I have since made an effort and the
result is as below:

Our Ancestors have, without the
benefit of the formal education ( as in today’s parlance) or equipment have chartered the inside of our body. As
they concluded that that this is same as the universe outside and the life
giving force inside is the same as that outside, they could visulise
this without such equipments.
They have established that this body,
which is the residence of the “Eternal” force for the time being, have
formulated what should be done with that. To help others to understand this and
to follow, they have detailed description of the composition of the body, its
afflictions, cures etc. Also they have suggested ways to keep it in prime
condition by following yogic practices which train and maintain the body and
its components.
Training of the life giving force or “
Prana “ helps the entire body by affecting all three gross sheaths, namely
Pranamaya kosa,through that Manomaya kosa and lastly and more importantly
the Annamaya Kosa.
They have enunciated that there are
three main channels in the body which run along the spine ( main carrier for
the Manomaya kosa) and they cross each other aat specific points in the body.
They named these channels “ Ida. Pingla
and Sushmana “ and the cross over points as “ Chakras”
The human should maske efforts to sent
the prana through these channeles and try and uplift and increase the traffic
through the upper chakras to elevate themselves.
Compared to this Modern medicine has
identified the following junction points or “ Plexuses “ +

Cervical Visuddha
Dorsal ( Brachial) Anahata
Lumbar Mani pooraka
Sacral Swatishtana
Coccygeal Mooladhara
The physical body is yang
compared to the yin nature of the astral
body. It is the chakras that link these bodies together and allow
information and energy to flow between them. It is due to this linkage that
yogis throughout the ages have been able to perform normally impossible feats.

Sometime back, I met a friend with whom I have lost contact long ago.
After some verbal exchanges, when I asked him how he is spending his time now,
he remarked that his time is spent on “ Poojai and Punaskarams +”. When I
returned home, this was still on my mind. I although not wanting to be
judgemental( I am not supposed to and also not capable of) , I could not help
but wonder how approaching the end ,changes any body’s mindset, Is it fear of
the End or realization of futility of one’s own assumptions of his capabilities
and achievements.? Anyways it made me think that this indulgence of
Poojai/Punaskarams is a middle stage of that very approach. Unless it
fructifies into further progress of the nava lakshana, it is like crossing the
half river,Is n’t ? Most likely to be swept away rather than reaching the bank.
Those who follow or “worship” the path of
selfishness and pleasure (Avidya), without knowing anything higher, necessarily
fall into darkness; but those who worship or cherish Vidya (knowledge) for mere
intellectual pride and satisfaction, fall into greater darkness, because the
opportunity which they misuse is greater.

Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna that it is not the rituals which matter
for Pooja, but the thoughts and devotion in mind of a person which matters for
Him. A thorough ritual without the Love to God may not be acceptable to Him; a
real Love in Devotion without ritual may be well accepted by Him.

Unless
one moves onto the next stage of “ Dasyam “,he gets stuck whereas moving on to
this step brings the Brahman closer to become “ Sakhyam.”. The Lord has
promised that for every step you take towards him, he takes many steps towards
you.
One of the great examples of Sakhyam is the
relationship between Sudhama and Sri Krishna. Although they are childhood
friends and classmates, they live separately. When Sudhama, pestered by his
wife to sek help from his friend goes to meet him. But nowhere he asks for
anything as in his mind that might amount to misuse of friendship. Sri Krishna
who is not only a King but also Lord himself maintains the sanctity of
friendship by not asking him whether he needs anything. They relive their past
and then part without a single word being spoken about help. Even a normal
person could have guessed from the appearance
and the gift ( Handful of hand beaten Poha, tied to the corner of his
tattered upper cloth ) that was brought by him, that he was in dire need of
help.Yet he showers him with wealth without telling or making it known. Thus
both maintain the sanctity of true friendship.
Such
friendship seems to develop between the
Dashya who by his inner devotion not relating to his external display of
the same, gets such intimacy with the Lord that he gets what he wants without a
word being spoken either loudly or even silently.

It is “ MOTHER’S DAY “ today!!!!!!
As usual is this my show of idiocy? The western world has started celebrating
Mother’s day on the second Sunday of May and Father’s day on third Sunday of
June. What an Irony? Even in this irrelevant celebrations, Mother comes before
Father. That is the strength of the concept of MOTHER. For me , every day is Mother’s day. It should be. Why allot only
one day in a year to remember, celebrate the love and memory of one
relationship that is THE Most important in anybody’s life.? I bet no one , even the most
acknowledged GENIUS can explain it.
In this
materialistic world, pain is
proportional to the pleasure that accompanies any action. While even in
conception it might be true, the woman is totally unmindful of this. She bears,
rears her offspring without giving any thought, focused totally only on her
love towards her kid/s.
It has been
celebrated for AGES, much before even it started in the US IN
1908. The world celebrates Mother’s day on the second Sunday of May. Not to
leave the other parent, they celebrate Father’s day on the third Sunday of June
and combined Parents day on the fourth Sunday of July.
Even the most
celebrated SAGES who have renounced the world and its bonds, have kept this
bond with the Mother and never renounced it.
Adi Sankara as
per his promise to his mother reached for her last rites. And so also Pattinaththar. Both lamented loudly ,much against their status as renounced
souls ,the loss of their mother.
Adi Sankara
composed Mathru Panchakam and poured out his feeling on this loss. Out of the
five stanzas , in one, he cries out aloud that what he could do in return for
all the sufferings she undertook in giving birth and raising him as this.
Mukthaa Manisthvam, Nayanam mamethi,
Rajethi jeevethi chiram sthutha thwam,
Ithyuktha vathya vaachi mathaa,
Dadamyaham thandulamesh shulkam.

Can anybody tell me. I want to avoid rebirth,
because my experiences in this birth are not good, so I want to avoid another
birth. The World is not a good place to live, after few years the situations
will be worst, beside that I don't want another childhood, teenage etc. So I
want salvation. Please reply.

First you have to join a very long queue😜
Second if you are leading such a difficult life you have to
make absolutely right (dharmic) choices for atleast rest of the life and also
in further births. Correction of course.
May be depending upon such elevation one day you (soul )
may reach a stage when you can select your rebirth

In a world full of more
miseries and hardships than Happiness and Pleasure for most of the inhabitants,
who cannot fathom the reasons, the above is the normal and frequent refrain..
Although it is not possible to change the circumstances by anyone, it is still
not easy to accept that helplessness. Expectations , if not for a spectacular
life but a miseryless life. Lead to frustration when it does not materialise. Instead
of searching within the reasons and solution for salvation, we pray for an end
to these by pining for cessation of births.
It is ironical that while accepting the existence
of the rebirths, no one is ready to accept that we only chart these further
journey.
During this life, we try to expend the effects of
our past deeds by undergoing what
comes to us and also accumulate further effects, by making choices of
doing certain deeds. Human beings who are at the pinnacle of evolution, down
only below to the Brahman, are blessed with intellect to evaluate , make choice
at free will and to act on them.
For
this we need to understand the mechanism of any action. All living beings have
three basic needs ,viz., Food (Hunger),Rest/Sleep and Lust (sex). They are Base
needs also. But the lust comes only when the first two needs are fulfilled.
While all living things except the Humans fulfills these needs without any
choice or intentions nor any feeling of gratification, only the Humans act
exrcising their free will and choices they make. Upanishads term the all put
together as Manas, Buddhi, Agankara and Chit.
First
the human wants desire something (Manas)
Budhdhi
acts on this and exercise the free will to chart the choices.
Ahankara
decides, based on its strength, the choice.
Chit
enjoys the result and gratification.
Although
certain acts which were considered normal and natural have been subsequently coded as Dharmic and
Adharmic by the learned for maintain social order.
It
is debatable that such acts cannot be judged as sins or deserve punishment by
natural order, they help in maintain sanity and social order, but it may not be
conclusively said that they contribute to retribution. However such acts
inflicts damage/ pain / misery to other, they are definitely entail retribution.
Keeping
this in mind any act done which does not harm others or rather benefit others
is considered Punniyam and other as Sin. The exercise of free will and choice
,action are complex to analyse and decide.
Mandhukya Upanishad
explains that the human who is Brahman
act on four different levels. The human which has attained the fourth
interactive state while in the consciousness at all times, might have become
one with the Brahman. I feel that such an evolved soul can choose the time of
his rebirth, However the nature and status of that rebirth wholly depend on his
living and deeds of this birth. It is said that even the celestial positions
are only posts and evolved souls can occupy them and those in that position can
slip and fall down to normal births. The instances of this explanation are
aplenty in Epics.
So,
to conclude, the rebirths cannot be stopped but modified by making proper
choices in the present life and continuing to better them in future births.

After a long time. I started to walk
again… meaning as a fitness regimen. As usual with walking I do the talking
also to myself. I may not do the walk the talk but definitely do the talk the
walk.:-D
I have noticed that not only me but
many do this. Sometimes it is delightful to watch their matching reactions and
gestures too. I find that with no one
with you to talk to, it is easier to talk to yourself or think aloud.
Today I stumbled upon a thought,
Instead of recording my “ vicharams’ in the normal format, why not try it
differently. Here is the attempt.
In our childhood, we were delighted to
watch the pugnacious ghost or Vetaal asking difficult questions to the ever
tenacious Vikram (adhityan) and at the end escape to frame another question.
Here is my Vikram and Vetaal episode
on one such question
It is implied that the atman which
resides inside the body is not touched by the actions of the body. However it
is a very pertinent thought that if it is so, then why the heck the body came
into existence if not for the actions of the same atma in its previous episode.?
Anyways, here is the plot for this
episode of my VIKRAM and VETAAL
we know that Sri.Adi Sankara who is a monk and
a celibate, as atma migrated from his body into the dead body of a king to gain
experience about the answers to the questions put forth by the wife of Mantan
Mishra,
Now Vetaal poses the question to Vikram: :-
Has
he not committed a sin by going against his celibacy to enjoy conjugal
pleasures with a woman?
Did
he not commit deceit in making the Queen believe and enjoy him and making her
feel that she is doing so with her husband?
Did
they both commit adultery a sin according to the Manu smrithi?
Vikram
, if you know the answer but do not reply me your head will break into thousand
pieces. But if you talk against the promise made by you to maintain silence, I
will fly away” Heeheeee Heee.
Readers, I guess now, your heads will
also break into thousand pieces if you
try to find the answer to these questions.

pleasures with a woman?
Did
he not commit deceit in making the Queen believe and enjoy him and making her
feel that she is doing so with her husband?

they both commit adultery a sin according to the Manu smruthi?
The mighty warrior King, Vikram,
without batting an eyelid, started answering.
When
a soul departs the body, it leaves behind everything belonging to that body and
even the body loses all its identity including its name. * It is called only a body. So when the monk
migrated from the body, he has no obligation/ adherence to the vows undertaken
by that Body.
According
to the reincarnation concepts, the soul upon taking a new form in the next
birth adopts the life of that body and lives according to what is destined for
that body and that life. It has no cognizance of its earlier births.
So
he has committed no sin as a monk or the King.
As
regards the queen, she believes the
person , whom she interacts with, is her Husband she had married to and taken
vows to abide by the shastras as laid down. The recognition of a body is its
face. Even to your question and story earlier about the interchanging of heads
of Father and husband, you have accepted my explanation that the face determines the body.
So,
if she gives in to the demands of her husband , she only fulfills those vows
and she does not commit adultery or sin.

“ You
said it right, Vikram. Your subjects deserve such an intelligent and learned King.
But you spoke and so I leave. “
Laughing out aloud,
the ghost escapes the clutch of Vikram and flew back to his abode.
Vikram started back to capture the ghost
again.

In my opinion, the body selected by the
Greatest Philosopher is less appropriate for the purpose he migrated. The actions of humans for engaging in acts of base
instinct is more uninhibited and grand at the lower levels of the strata than
the upper most. However this selection is ominous of the course of rebirths. If
the soul has moved on in the path of liberation and realization of Brahman , it
takes higher births which afford further progression. But to pursue higher path
or lower depends on the actions of the person in the next birth.

In Hinduism, karma
is a concept which explains causality through a system where beneficial effects
are derived from past beneficial actions and harmful effects from past harmful
actions, creating a system of actions and reactions throughout a soul’s
reincarnated lives111 forming a cycle of rebirth. The causality is said to be
applicable not only to the material world but also to our thoughts, words,
actions and actions that others do under our instructions112. When the cycle of
rebirth comes to an end, a person is said to have attained mokṣa, or salvation
from saṁsāra.
Yājñavalkya tells King Janaka what happens to
the unliberated soul after death, employing the metaphor of the caterpillar or
leech:
“As a caterpillar,
reaching the end of a blade of grass and taking the next step, draws itself
together, so the self, dropping the body, letting go of ignorance and taking
the next step, draws itself
As a weaver,
unpicking a pattern from her weaving, fashions another, newer and more
beautiful shape, so the self, dropping the body and letting go of ignorance,
creates another, newer and more beautiful shape, either of the ancestors, or of
the gandharvas, or of the gods, or of Prajapati, or of Brahma, or of some other
beings.”
Yājñavalkya adds
that this self, or spirit, is conditioned by good, and bad actions, or karma. What a man turns out
to be depends on how he acts and how he conducts himself. If his actions are
good, he will turn into something good. If his actions are bad, he will turn
into something bad.

In
a recently formed whatsapp group, I saw a
video about “ Consiousness”. The same can be termed as “
Pragya or Prajñāin
Sanskrit. Although the consciousness is referred to as CHIT, which is central
to a living entity.
Although I
accept the scientific details mentioned in the video, I feel that they are non
coherent and not fully explain the “
Concept of Consciousness”,
According
to available data, the subject of
consciousness had come to the attention of the west very late in 1500s, our
vedic texts are replete with references to this subject both as Chit and
Pragya. Earlier jottings on this based on Mandukya Upanishad is at 16th May,2018
Although
various extensions relating to consciousness as given below have sprung to
explain the neurological responces, diseaces ,diagonases and treatments, it is
still not conclusive.
The

Consciousness is the state or quality of awareness or of being aware of an external object or something
within oneself
since the time of Descartes and Locke, have
struggled to comprehend the nature of consciousness and identify its essential
properties. Issues of concern in the philosophy of consciousness include
whether the concept is fundamentally coherent; whether consciousness can ever
be explained mechanistically; whether non-human consciousness
exists and if so how it can be recognized; how consciousness relates to language; whether
consciousness can be understood in a way that does not require a dualistic distinction
between mental and physical states or properties; and whether it may ever be
possible for computing machines like computers or robots to
be conscious, a topic studied in the field of artificial intelligence.
In medicine, consciousness is assessed by observing a
patient's arousal and responsiveness, and can be seen as a continuum of states
ranging from full alertness and comprehension, through disorientation,
delirium, loss of meaningful communication, and finally loss of movement in
response to painful stimuli.[8] Issues
of practical concern include how the presence of consciousness can be assessed
in severely ill, comatose, or anesthetized people, and how to treat conditions
in which consciousness is impaired or disrupted.[9]The
degree of consciousness is measured by standardized behavior observation scales
such as the Glasgow Coma Scale.
The first influential philosopher to discuss
this question specifically was Descartes, and the answer he gave is known as Cartesian
dualism. Descartes proposed that
consciousness resides within an immaterial domain he called res cogitans (the realm of thought), in contrast to the domain of
material things, which he called res extensa (the realm of extension).[35] He suggested that the interaction between these two
domains occurs inside the brain, perhaps in a small midline structure called
the pineal gland.
Decartes further explanation is similar to the three schools
of the soul, enunciated by Shri.Adi Shankara, Sri Ramanuja and Shri
Madhwacharya.
The three main types of monism are physicalism (which holds that the mind consists of matter organized
in a particular way), idealism (which holds that only thought or experience truly exists, and
matter is merely an illusion), and neutral monism (which holds that both mind and matter
are aspects of a distinct essence that is itself identical to neither of them)
Similarly the four states of
consciousness mentioned in the Upanishad is corroborated by science as follows
There are some brain states in which consciousness seems to be absent,
including dreamless sleep, coma, and
death
The two most widely accepted altered states
are sleep and dreaming. Although dream sleep and non-dream sleep appear very similar to an
outside observer, each is associated with a distinct pattern of brain activity,
metabolic activity, and eye movement; each is also associated with a distinct
pattern of experience and cognition. During ordinary non-dream sleep, people
who are awakened report only vague and sketchy thoughts, and their experiences
do not cohere into a continuous narrative. During dream sleep, in contrast, people
who are awakened report rich and detailed experiences in which events form a
continuous progression, which may however be interrupted by bizarre or
fantastic intrusions

In the same video mentioned above,
there was a mention about Quantum mechanics and related principles. As during
our schooling pwriod, this science was not available to us for learning .In my
quest for the truth, I was wondering
whether this theory could explain the “ Beginning of the Beginning “.
When I was contemplating earlier oh
this very aspect, I attempted to propose a model for this phenomenon. Two
separate jottings on this are enclosed.
Now I alaso made an effort to
understand atleast the gist of Quantum Theory, mechanics and more so the
Entanglement. I give below what I could grasp in this effort.
Quantum mechanics (QM; also known as quantum
physics, quantum theory, the wave mechanical model,
or matrix mechanics), including quantum field
theory, is a fundamental theory
in physics which describes nature at the smallest scales of energy levels of atoms and subatomic
particles.
Quantum mechanics was initially developed to
provide a better explanation and description of the atom
Broadly speaking, quantum mechanics incorporates four classes of
phenomena for which classical physics cannot account:
Although the
word Quantum as derived from Latin means “ How Great” or “ How much”?,the
following is the fact.

Generally, quantum mechanics does not assign definite values.
Instead, it makes a prediction using a probability distribution; that
is, it describes the probability of obtaining the possible outcomes from
measuring an observable. Often these results are skewed by many causes, such as
dense probability clouds. Probability clouds are approximate (but better
than the Bohr model) whereby electron location is
given by a probability function, the wave
function eigenvalue, such that the probability is the squared
modulus of the complex amplitude, or quantum
state nuclear attraction.[33][34] Naturally,
these probabilities will depend on the quantum state at the "instant"
of the measurement. Hence, uncertainty is involved in the value. There are,
however, certain states that are associated with a definite value of a
particular observable. These are known as eigenstates of
the observable ("eigen" can be translated from German as
meaning "inherent" or "characteristic").[35]
However, I am intrigued by the concept of Entanglement and behavior of
entangled pair.
Quantum entanglement is a physical phenomenon which occurs
when pairs or groups of particles are generated, interact, or share spatial proximity in
ways such that the quantum state of each particle cannot be described independently of
the state of the other(s), even when the particles are separated by a large
distance—instead, a quantum state must be described for the system as a whole
Measurements of physical
properties such as position, momentum, spin,
and polarization, performed on entangled particles are
found to be correlated. For example, if a pair of particles is
generated in such a way that their total spin is known to be zero, and one
particle is found to have clockwise spin on a certain axis, the spin of the
other particle, measured on the same axis, will be found to be
counterclockwise, as is to be expected due to their entanglement. However, this
behavior gives rise to seemingly paradoxical effects:
any measurement of a property of a particle performs an irreversible collapse
on that particle and will change the original quantum state. In the case of
entangled particles, such a measurement will be on the entangled system as a
whole. Given that the statistics of these measurements cannot be replicated by
models in which each particle has its own
state independent of the other, it appears that one particle of an entangled
pair "knows" what measurement has been performed on the other,
and with what outcome, even though there is no known means for such information
to be communicated between the particles, which at the time of measurement may
be separated by arbitrarily large distances.
it is possible to prepare two particles in a
single quantum state such that when one is observed to be spin-up, the other
one will always be observed to be spin-down and vice versa,
It is interesting to note that

neutral

Splits into
Electron and positron who have complimentary charges(Energies) and when put
together become Neutral or zero charge

As an entangled
pair, the properties are same complimentary but when measured act on the
opposite directions.
I could not help
, with these observations, but wonder whether or not it explains the known
spiritual concept that

The Primordial
matter ( Brahman ) is Neutral and has no attributes “Nirguna”
2.
When the universe is created an entangled pair .
as the origin, sprang up “ Brahman and
Maya” with definitive attributes
3.
And they do act
complimentary but in opprosite directions. One to elevate and second to
degenerate.
While it can
never be claimed that this is the explanation, to an inquisitive mind it is a
revelation to pursue further.It is like a child when he finds an object, shows
it to others so some knowledgeable person can explain it further.

There is no ideal or the best
way to attain enlightenment. Whether it is classical physics or Quantum
Physics, it cannot explain satisfactorily the Primordial Force accurately nor
indicate ways to achieve it. Only the constant Para Vicharam of the reality may
lead to it.
The laws of Physics state that
the change in the state of Matter happens
when Heat is supplied or removed from it. From solid to Liquid to
vapour/Plasma , the heat is added to change and transform. In the same way, to
move from Vasivanara to Brahman or Ordinary mortal to Sidhdha Purusha, Constant
heat has to be added by way of Vicharam ( sravanam, mananam and Nidhidyasanam)
of the Brahman. Ordianry consciousness to be developed and merged with
Universal Consiousness.
न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते |

In this world, there is nothing as
purifying as divine knowledge. One who has attained purity of mind through
prolonged practice of Yog, receives such knowledge within the heart, in due
course of time.

ज्ञानं लब्ध्वा परां शान्तिमचिरेणाधिगच्छति || 39||

labhate jñānaṁ tat-paraḥ sanyatendriyaḥ

Those whose faith is deep and who have
practiced controlling their mind and senses attain divine knowledge. Through
such transcendental knowledge, they quickly attain everlasting supreme peace.
Arutperum Jothi, Vallalar in his
speech, explains how the mind darkened
by the illusionary thoughts ,which cannot see the TRUTH, is removed by the
constatnt para vicharam. and Adi Ushnam.

If we can do this kind
of ‘VICHAARAM’, the fore most veil of dark green, which obstructs strongly our
soul-knowledge without enlightment will get removed and vanish.
If that first veil
vanishes, all other veils will vanish more quickly and automatically. That
Green colours the fundamental colour of black.
Just as we remove the
fungus above the stagnant water of the pond, it is not easy to remove the thick
dark green veil of “RAAGA DHUVESA”, the “likes” and ‘dis-likes” which obstructs
the vision of our soul knowledge, without the transcendental heat of
“VICHAARAM”, ‘VICHAARA ATHI-USHNAM”. This kind of divine causal heat can be realized by the
spiritual experience of an adept yogi.
This Divine heat is
not be known to be created or kindled by any other human efforts. Even more
than that “VICHAARAM” exceedingly great heat. ATHI – USHNAM can be
created by doing melting prayer, praying with devotional songs, and meditating
and thinking about the Divine nature, Divine truth and glory. Only for this
ATHI – USHNAM, the Yogi, go and live in forests, mountains and caves, for
hundreds and thousands of years and kindle the heat with severe tapas, penance
and strict observances and self-control.
Besides doing this
kind of TAPAS and creating “ATHI – USHNAM” or heat, it is by singing the Divine
glory and greatness with prayerful songs and meditating the Almighty God
Arutperunjothi, it is possible to create crores and ten crores (millions and
billions) times of “ATHI – USHNAM”.
How to produce that
VICHAARA – ATHI – USHNAM ?. It is as follows:
If we can try for one
JAAMA or YAAMAM, (three or four hours of duration continuously) involved in Para
VICHAARAM (i.e.) Divine inquiry. Without (IHA-VICHAARAM) this worldly enquiry,
and also meditating or singing the glory, along with prayer of Devotional songs
with melting of the soul and mind, we can attain and achieve whatever we have
to attain.
And hence in this
world, the worldly people would refer to the VICHAARAM as misery and sorrow
without knowing or understanding real truth and meaning of VICHAARAM. But we
should not consider that kind of meaning. What they mean is that VICHAARAM
itself as misery or sorrow, which is wrong, and also it is not the right
meaning, ‘CHAARAM’ means, misery and sorrow (DHUKKAM). But “VICHAARAM” means
the removal or destruction of sorrow and misery. And hence VI + CHAARAM =
removing or driving away, the misery and sorrow. The prefix, “VI”, which had
removed the misery and sorrow, (i.e.) CHAARAM so VICHAARAM refer only to PARA –
LOKA – VICHAARAM, inquiry of the Divine World. And so we have to be
continuously involved in VICHAARAM. Also VI + CHAARAM means “VI” danger or accident
and mishappening, CHAARAM means removal or driving away danger and accident.
Conclusively we should be trained and inculcated in good efforts continuously
in SATH – VICHAARAM.
This was revealed on
22nd October, 1873 (Tamil month of Aipasi 7th day),
Tuesday morning 8a.m.
