Greateast democracy

India ,the much touted second largest democracy in the world is due to elect its "President". The topmost post in the country. All the opinion polls showed that the present incumbent Dr.A B J Kalam should be given the second term,the Powers that control the Nation(The "chair person of UPA,PM(?) and more so importantly the allies ,who in effect control the powers,want some other puppet to be made the PRESIDENT.If the will and wishes of the People are not respected by a few who willy nilly got elected as people's representatives, who can make their own choice much against the wishes of the majority of the people,where is democracy.Has the powers been abdicated to these chosen few just because the people have elected them(?). Can the people who are the basis of definition of the democracy and Republic-Do you all remember -? " For the People ,By the people and of the people".A serious though comes to me-Can we force these so caled represenattives who do not care for the opinion of the people to get out or atleast respect their wishes? Can we move the Courts to direct them to do so ? Who can answer?
